I hate the Cha Cha Slide. Like, I will never ever get up and do it at a wedding, graduation party, funeral party or just because it’s Tuesday. I like the Cupid Shuffle more, but it’s still not getting me up in the dancery. Same with the Wobble. I’m a die-hard Electric Slider. If I have to do a line dance at an event, that’s the one you can count me in for. I don’t know when I. Original Song – “Electric Boogie” By Marcia Griffiths. STEP 1 - Chords

First, learn and try out the 2 simple chords you need to play this song:
C(0003), Dm(2210)

Electric boogie movie

Practice holding those chords and switching between them. Use your ring finger to hold the C chord and practice moving it accurately between the 3rd fret of the A string and the 2nd fret of the C string. When the movement is fairly smooth, start to build your Dm chord around that until you are able to make the switch cleanly. Check out the video below for more pointers on how to make the chord switches:

Now that you're comfortable holding each of these chords and switching easily between them, move on to Step 2. Windows xp 32 bit iso download free.

STEP 2 - Beginner Rhythm

Next, add a simple rhythm by playing a 'down-up, down-up, down-up, down-up' strum. The chord pattern is C and Dm - each chord getting 4 beats or four 'down-up's. Move on to elongating the first strum by 'missing' the first up strum (bring your hand up but don't strum). After that, replace down strums 2 and 4 with chunks. In the video below, Aldrine explains the beginner strum in more detail:

If you need more guidance on how to do the chunk, be sure to check out the Uke Minutes tutorial on how to chunk HERE.

Now, try playing along with the Play-Along at the top of the page, adding a this basic strum to your chords. Awesome job! You just played through the beginner version of this song!

STEP 3 - Intermediate Rhythm

In order to get that really funky rhythm on your ukulele, you can enhance your rhythm by doubling up the strum. This means you'll be playing 8 'down-ups' for each chord, in the same amount of space that you previously did only 4. It might might take a little practice to be able to double your strum, but do your best and twist that wrist! Elongate the first strum, just like in the Beginner Rhythm, as well as the second strum. Then emphasize some of the strums and finally add some chunks to beats 2 and 4. Aldrine explains the intermediate strum in more detail in the following video:

Try it out, use your ears to match the rhythm, and when you're able to strum in a way that sounds pretty close, play along with the Play-Along at the top of the page using this intermediate strum. Great job, you just played the intermediate version of this song!

STEP 4 - Picking Parts

Finally, move on the the picking in order to add that last bit of shine to this song. Be sure to utilize the following videos and the 'Electric Slide' Ukulele Picking TAB sheets to learn the picking for this song. There are 4 picking parts, but they're all slight variations of the same theme. Practice using the 50%, 75%, and 100% playback speeds in each of the picking videos below:
